According to Reuters Washington/New York news, the Twitter company said on the 8th that the company has permanently suspended the account of US President Donald Trump because of the risk of further inciting violence.
The company said on a tweet: “After carefully reviewing the recent tweets of the @realDonaldTrump account and the background of these tweets, we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further inciting violence.”
After the chaos on the 6th, social media companies have already taken action on Trump’s account. Facebook said earlier this week that it would suspend Trump’s account, at least until the end of his presidency.
The White House did not immediately comment.
